🎉 Calling all Dayton Ballet School alumni! 🎉

As we celebrate 100 incredible years of Dayton Ballet School, we’re bringing together the generations of dancers, teachers, choreographers, and friends who have made our history so special.

We’re excited to launch our official Dayton Ballet School Alumni Facebook Group—a place to reconnect, reminisce, share memories, celebrate accomplishments, and stay connected as we honor a century of dance.

💙 If you danced at Dayton Ballet School, taught here, worked here, or were part of our community, we’d love to have you join us. DM us and we will add you!

We love our DBS families so much! From the proud parents to the biggest cheerleaders, backstage helpers, photo takers, bun makers, snack packers, and everyone in between — you are such a huge part of the magic!

Another DBS dancer we’d like to acknowledge as our 25/26 season comes to a close is Rebecca!

We are so proud as she takes this exciting next step in her dance journey! ✨ Rebecca will continue her training at the prestigious Joffrey Ballet School in New York!

Favorite backstage memory: “My favorite backstage memory is whenever I’m in the dressing rooms with my friends, doing our hair & makeup and blasting our hype-up music.”

Favorite Role: “My favorite role was being a Ragamuffin in Peter Pan; it was my first big show outside of nutcracker and I got to do cartwheels and run around the stage!
Go to warmup song: Messages From the Stars- The RAH band!”

Favorite ballet step: Assemble en tournant!

Adagio or Jumps: I love them both! (But probably jumps)

One word my peers would use to describe me: Genuine

Watching our students pursue their dreams and embrace new opportunities is one of the greatest joys of what we do. We know Rebecca’s hard work, dedication, and passion will serve her well, and we can’t wait to see all that she accomplishes!

Our DBS families are such an important part of what makes this community so special, and we are grateful for every parent, grandparent, sibling, and friend who cheers our dancers on every step of the way 💞

We love seeing the proud smiles from the audience! So much love and joy in one place, and we are so grateful to be part of their dance journey ✨

Enchanted Tales was everything we hoped for and more—a beautiful celebration of storytelling, imagination, and the incredible dedication of our dancers 💞

To our students: thank you for sharing your hearts on stage and bringing this story to life. To our DBS families: thank you for your endless support, carpools, encouragement, and trust. To our staff, volunteers, crew, and everyone working behind the scenes: this magic simply would not happen without you.

It truly takes a village to create something this special, and we are so grateful for every person who played a part in making this performance unforgettable.
