Angels for Anna Our dream is to open a facility to provide comprehensive opportunities for life enhancement for all.

Our mission is to enhance the lives of those in need, their families, friends and community by encouraging and empowering individuals to do something nice, for someone else, every day. Volunteer opportunities will exist for those of us who want to help out but don’t know how to get started. Therapies, life skill learning and engineering would make up the primary mission of the organization and fa

cility. We dream of a facility where parents and kids can meet with engineers and say “this is what we need” and we can make it happen. We dream of a facility where parents are an integral part of therapy and opportunities abound when insurance coverage for the year runs out. We dream of a facility where aquatic therapy is available at reasonable costs, where hippotherapy (and therapeutic riding) is not an unusual modality, where life skill training is readily available (as schools are in need of cutting back programs). We dream of a facility where people can volunteer and learn. Where if you have ever said -”I’d like to do something but I don’t know what or how to get started” we can help you to help others. We are a 501(c)(3) not for profit organization {Contributions are tax deductible as allowed by law} . Our mission is to enhance the lives of those in need, their families, friends and community by encouraging and empowering individuals to "Do Something Nice, for Someone Else, Every Day."

We are so grateful for all of our volunteers, partners, and supporters through the years. This week, we had the opportunity to give 20 Parent Packs to the Ronald McDonald House in Dayton. These packs include toiletries, fuzzy socks, a blanket, a t-shirt, and sweatpants for the caregiver of a child experiencing an emergent stay in the hospital. Feeling very grateful after another successful Night of Giving! 💜

We continued our tradition of dispersing wind chimes in the community, specifically to people who have experienced a hardship recently. Wind chimes act as a reminder that someone cares and you are not alone. Wind chimes are hand made, painted, fired in a kiln, and strung together into weatherproof wind chimes that can hang up and brighten your environment.

Last call for requests for the Night of Giving!
If someone in the greater Dayton area comes to mind, please message or email us 💜

What is the Night of Giving?
Anna passed away on September 1st, 2012. On the anniversary of her death, we wanted to “do something nice” and the Night of Giving was born. Each year, we get together and hand paint wind chime pieces that we put together. We then distribute these wind chimes throughout the community based on requests from friends and family, on or near the 1st of September.

Requests can be made for anyone who has/or is going through a difficult time this past year, whether it be the loss of a loved one or tough diagnosis, we hope to make their day a little better when they wake up to a beautiful wind chime. Attached to our wind chimes is a note about Angels for Anna, the Night of Giving, and a reminder that an angel is watching over them.

If you have someone you would like to request a wind chime for, please send us their name, address, and a little about their story. We ask that you only send requests for people you personally know. Please send all requests through direct message or email us at [email protected]

Today we dropped off more Parent Packs filled with the essentials for a parent or guardian of a child experiencing an emergent stay at one of the hospitals in the Dayton area. We are so grateful for the opportunity to give back to our community and to individuals and families who are in similar situations as we once were in.
