Richardson WAS a victim of both sexual and physical abuse. From her experiences, she has a strong passion to be an advocate for survivors and victims of this silent epidemic. Kia currently mentors teens and young women who have recently left abusive relationships and are in the process of leaving. She also advocates for women suffering from post-abortion depression and anxiety. She started No More Blows in 2012 and in 2013 she started the process of incorporating as a Non Profit.

October is DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AWARENESS MONTH..... Some victims carry scars that are visible while many more carry scars that aren't. Domestic Violence is an epidemic in our society and I urge everyone to not look away! Get involved if needed, call 911 and protect victims who can’t protect themselves. You never know if that one call could save a life.
