Today marks ten years since the Pulse Nightclub massacre — a night that stole 49 beautiful lives, wounded many more, and left a permanent mark on the LGBTQ+ community.

Pulse was more than a nightclub. It was a sanctuary. A place of music, joy, chosen family, freedom, and love. The attack was meant to terrorize a community simply for existing, celebrating, and living out loud.

Ten years later, we remember the 49 lives taken. We honor the survivors. We hold close the families, friends, and community members who still carry the grief of that night. And we recommit ourselves to fighting hate, protecting q***r spaces, and building a world where LGBTQ+ people — especially q***r and trans people of color — are safe, seen, valued, and loved.

May their memories be a blessing. May our love remain louder than hate.

It's hard to believe that ten years ago tomorrow we were all reminded just how much hate there is towards our community at times. On June 12, 2016 a gunman walked into Pulse Nightclub in Orlando, Florida and opened fire on the crowd, killing 49 people and injurying so many others. Tomorrow night we are going to commemorate the ten year anniversary by taking a few moments of silence and reading the names of those who lost their lives that horrible night. Please join us if you can.
