FEATURING – the lovely homes of Walnut Hills!

In driving around the neighborhood, I was struck by how many homes are nicely landscaped with lots of flowers, well-trimmed and welcoming.

Here are just three of many. I always ask permission of the owner before taking the pic – some may not want their home on Facebook.

Are you proud of your home? Feel free to show us in the comments. And if your neighbor’s home is impressive, ask them if you can share theirs too.

I was hopeful about the orange bag program, because I want to put as little trash in the landfill as possible. Now, unfortunately, they are phasing out the program.

Use up the bags you have, and let's all look for ways to minimize the trash. Look twice at packaging before you buy. If it's something you purchase regularly, ask the manufacturer to find better packaging.

Explore the Hefty ReNew Recycling Program for hard-to-recycle plastics. By collecting items in the orange bags, we can keep more plastics out of landfills.
