A huge thank you to a few hardworking members of the Beavercreek Boys Wrestling Team for spending part of their day helping us move furniture and rearrange offices at Agape for Youth!

As our team continues to grow, we’re making changes to our office space to ensure everyone has room to work and serve families well. These young men jumped right in, moved desks, lifted furniture, and tackled every task with great attitudes and plenty of muscle.

One thing we love about foster care is that everyone can do something to make a difference. Some people become foster parents, some donate, some volunteer, and apparently wrestlers use their superhuman strength to move all the heavy stuff that the rest of us stare at and wonder how we’re going to lift! 💪

Thank you for showing that supporting children and families can look different for everyone. We are so grateful for your willingness to serve and help make room for the continued growth of our mission.

What an incredible Day 2 at the Agape Foster Parent Conference! ❤️

Today was filled with learning, laughter, connection, and fun as foster parents and children came together for another amazing day. We learned, we played, and we grew together!

We are so grateful for the dedicated foster families who provide love, stability, and hope to children every day. Your commitment to serving children and families makes a lasting difference in our community.

A special thank you to our wonderful host site, Centerville Grace Church, for their hospitality and partnership in helping make this event possible.

Thank you to every foster parent, volunteer, speaker, and supporter who helped make this conference such a success. It is an honor to serve alongside you as we continue Growing Families Together.

What an incredible Day 1 at Agape’s Foster Parent Conference! 🎉

Our kids had an absolute blast making memories, playing games, and enjoying all the fun activities planned just for them. Meanwhile, foster parents spent the day learning, growing, and connecting with one another through encouraging and informative sessions.

Of course, no great conference day is complete without delicious food and plenty of snacks to keep everyone fueled and smiling! 🍽️💙

We are so grateful for our foster families, volunteers, speakers, and a HUGE thank you to our host Centerville Grace Church for the use of their amazing facility and everyone who helped make today such a success. We can’t wait to do it all again tomorrow!

On Friday, we hosted our very first Scholars Banquet, and what a beautiful evening it was! 🎓✨

The night was dedicated to celebrating the incredible foster youth at Agape as they completed another school year. Many of these students have overcome significant challenges—starting at new schools mid-year, working hard to catch up academically, and stepping into new opportunities through sports, clubs, and other activities. Their resilience, determination, and positive attitudes are truly inspiring.

It was an honor to recognize not only their academic achievements, but also their personal growth and perseverance. From the red carpet and photo booth to the delicious food, chocolate fountain, and sparkling cider, the evening was a special celebration of all they have accomplished.

Each student received a personalized award, certificate, and trophy, and we couldn't be prouder of them or the foster parents who have supported them along the way. Our hearts are still so full. 💙

Because excellence in foster care matters! ✨

Today, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice secured freedoms many of us enjoy every day, and we are deeply grateful.

At Agape, we also recognize the families who carry the weight of that sacrifice long after the service ends. Your courage, resilience, and love do not go unseen.

As we gather with loved ones this Memorial Day, may we do so with gratitude, humility, and remembrance.

☀️ As the school year comes to an end, many foster families are preparing for a big transition into summer break. While summer can bring fun and freedom, it can also bring changes in routine, increased childcare needs, and added stress for both children and caregivers.

Here are 5 simple ways you can support foster families this summer:

1.🎒 Donate summer activity supplies like sidewalk chalk, water toys, craft kits, or board games.
2.🍎 Help with meals or snacks by dropping off a grocery gift card, freezer meal, or summer snack basket.
3.💛 Offer encouragement. A simple text, note, or check-in can mean more than you know to a foster parent navigating busy summer days.
4.🌳 Include foster families in community activities or invite them to free local events, park days, or playdates.
5.🧸 Be patient and understanding with children who may struggle with changes in routine, transitions, or emotional regulation during school breaks.

What an unforgettable night for Agape at the Dayton Dragons Professional Baseball Team game as we were honored to be selected as the Community All-Stars! ⚾️💙🤩⚾️

We were incredibly grateful for the opportunity to connect with so many amazing people at our booth on the plaza, share about the mission of Agape, and spread awareness about the urgent need for foster families in our community.

One of the most special moments of the evening was seeing Agape featured on the dugout and hearing from our CEO & President, Nicole Sturk, during her interview as she shared the heart behind our mission and the importance of supporting children and families in need.

Moments like these remind us that this work takes an entire community — and we are so thankful to stand alongside people who care deeply about making a difference in the lives of children.

Thank you to the Dayton Dragons for this incredible honor, for welcoming us so warmly, and for helping amplify the mission of Agape. Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth, asked questions, shared encouragement, or simply took time to learn more about the children and families we serve.
