Scottish Rite Dayton Valley of Dayton - Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry Our membership now stands at 8500 plus and covers fourteen counties in west central Ohio.

The Valley of Dayton is the fifth largest Valley in the Northern Masonic Jurisdiction of the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry. We support, under the auspices of The Supreme Council, The Neil and Willa Jean Smalley Children’s Dyslexia Center Valley of Dayton, helping children with dyslexia. The most important benefits we offer our members cannot be seen, but manifest in ways that encourage men to be better, with their God, family, and society.

Huge congratulations to Brothers Robert E. Potts and J. Andrew McConnell from the Valley of Dayton Scottish Rite! 🏅✨

This past weekend, these two dedicated 32° Masons were officially honored with the prestigious Meritorious Service Award (MSA) during the annual meeting of the Ohio Council of Deliberation.

The MSA is the highest honor a state Council of Deliberation can confer, given only to those who demonstrate exceptional, unwavering devotion to the craft, their brothers, and the community. Brothers Potts and Andy embody our core values through and through, and this recognition is richly deserved.

Thank you both for your leadership, your tireless service to the Valley, and for continuing to build a better community.

Nearly 100 years ago, a crowd gathered "up the hill" to witness the beginning of a Dayton landmark. On May 17th, we return to that historic moment. Join us for a monumental afternoon of tradition, music, and discovery!

2:00 PM: Reenactment of the Cornerstone Laying with a Bagpipe Processional.
2:30 PM: Official Welcome from the Grand Master and Congressman Mike Turner.
3:00 PM – 5:00 PM: Open House! Explore our beautiful spaces with live entertainment curated by Culture Works.

Please join us in the Billiard Room at the Dayton Masonic Center to view the 5th TNR of the season. We will be there from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM, the degree starts at 8:00 PM.
