Promoting, encouraging and recognizing civil engin The Dayton Section hosts 10 monthly meetings a year.

The ASCE Dayton Section consists of over 300 members practicing in Civil Engineering or related fields. In addition, the Section hosts several technical seminars throughout the course of the year. The ASCE Younger Members provide the opportunity for our members under the age of 35 years old or the "young at heart" to engage in social, community service, and technical activities in the Dayton Area.

One of the most common responses we get when talking to homeowners is that they know where the underground utility lines on their property are already so there’s no need to notify 811. Over the years, erosion, directional boring, and other factors can happen without you noticing. It’s crucial that you still notify 811 before you begin your project.
