African American Visual Artists Guild We represent and support the creative diversity of the African community and it’s relationship with contemporary society.

The African American Visual Artists Guild (AAVAG), of Dayton, Ohio, was born out of the need to express visually the African American experience through a wide range of styles and subject matter using many diverse approaches and materials with a focus on communicating the artist's own spirituality. 🎨 Celebrate the Art & Legacy of Willis “Bing” Davis!

Join us Sunday, October 18, 2026, from 2–4 PM at the African American Visual Artist Guild Gallery for a special celebration honoring the many artistic contributions of Willis “Bing” Davis.

🖼️ Artist Talk: Bing Davis will share a 20-minute talk about his work, followed by an audience Q&A.

✨ Explore the Exhibition: View Davis’ artwork currently on display at the AAVAG Gallery and experience the creativity, history, and cultural expression reflected in his work.

We’ll also celebrate Bing Davis as a co-founder of AAVAG, an organization dedicated to supporting the creative diversity of the African American community and its relationship with contemporary society.
