Camp Kroc Week 3: Fun & Fitness
This week of camp was packed with action, including field trips to the Boonshoft Museum and Young's Jersey Dairy. Outdoor activities and excursions kept campers moving and having fun. The windy weather was perfect for both flying kites and making giant bubbles. We are already excited for next week!

Registration for the Backpack Giveaway opens on July 1 at 9:00 AM! This program is available for children entering grades K-8. Each registered child will receive a backpack filled with school supplies appropriate for their grade level.

To register, you will visit daytonkroc.org. The registration link will become available at 9:00 AM on July 1. Please note that spaces are limited and fill up quickly, so be sure to set a reminder.

The pick-up day for the backpacks will be Friday, July 31, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

Camp Kroc Week 2: Treasure Hunters 💎

This week, our campers became true treasure hunters as they searched high and low for hidden goodies, tackled exciting adventures, and made memories along the way! 🗺️✨

The highlight of the week was our field trip to Carillon Historical Park, where campers explored Dayton’s history, discovered incredible exhibits, and continued their adventure beyond Camp Kroc.

From treasure hunts to new discoveries, Week 2 was full of fun, friendship, and unforgettable moments. We can’t wait to see what next week brings! ☀️

Happy National Donut Day! 🍩

Today, we had the privilege of delivering donuts to some of our local first responders as a small token of appreciation for the incredible service they provide to our community every day.

National Donut Day has deep roots in The Salvation Army’s history, honoring the “Donut Lassies” who served fresh donuts and offered comfort, encouragement, and care to soldiers on the front lines during World War I.

More than a century later, we’re proud to continue that tradition of service and gratitude. Thank you to all of our first responders for the sacrifices you make and for the ways you help keep our community safe and strong.

What a beautiful morning of connection, care, and community! 💙

Thank you to everyone who joined us for Connecting at the Kroc: A Resource Fair. Seeing so many individuals and families come together to access resources, learn about local services, and support one another was truly inspiring.
