Thank You from the MÉTIS of Maine

As another wonderful Powwow comes to a close, we would like to extend our sincere gratitude to everyone who helped make this gathering so special. Thank you to the Split Feather Singers, our dancers, elders, traders, volunteers, and all who traveled near and far to join us. Your presence, hard work, and dedication helped create a weekend filled with friendship, culture, tradition, and community.

A special thank you goes to those who worked behind the scenes, setting up, cooking, cleaning, directing traffic, and ensuring everything ran smoothly. Your efforts often go unseen, but they are deeply appreciated.

Together, we keep our traditions alive and strengthen the bonds that unite us. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for making this Powwow a memorable and meaningful celebration.

I wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to Split Feather Singers for all the hard work and dedication that went into the June METIS Pow Wow. Your commitment to preserving and celebrating our culture is truly inspiring.

The event was a beautiful showcase of our traditions, and it wouldn’t have been possible without your tireless efforts. The atmosphere was filled with joy and connection, allowing us to come together and honor our ancestors.

The intricate crafts made and offered by our traders, every detail reflected the rich heritage of our community their workmanship is unmatched.

I would also like to acknowledge the volunteers who contributed their time and energy. Your enthusiasm and passion made the Pow Wow a memorable experience for everyone involved. It was wonderful to see families and friends gather, share stories, and create lasting memories.

Thank you once again for your unwavering support and for fostering a sense of unity among us. I look forward to future events and continuing to celebrate our culture together.

I humbly offer my gratitude!!
