Let’s set the record straight. The Professional Fire Fighters of Nevada isn’t just some big-city union. The PFFN is made up of professional firefighters from communities across this entire state, including right here in Lyon County.
These are your neighbors. The men and women who respond when your house is on fire, when your family member can’t breathe, when there’s another accident on the highway 50/95 or I80. They live here, they serve here, and they have every right to make endorsements that reflect what’s best for the people they protect.
Don’t let political talking points convince you that the firefighters advocating for their community is somehow outside interference. The PFFN endorses candidates who support public safety and that’s always been about YOU, not a party or a city.
We too are Lyon County. That said, vote for the candidates you value and trust. Our endorsements are just to get you thinking and researching so that you may vote for yourself.
