Things Found in Books

Things Found in Books Many interesting things are left inside donated books. This page exists to pay homage to a few of the most charming, or unusual or just plain weird.

At the Dayton Book Fair, we get thousands of books by donation. Often they come with their "bookmarks" still in them-- dollar bills, family photos, newspaper clippings, a letter from Emile Zola. Being the sentimental types, we can't bring ourselves to throw all this stuff away-- and we thought we'd share some of the more unusual things here so we can all enjoy them together. If you happen to see y

ourself (or a family member) in a photo and you'd like to have it-- just give us a call and we can arrange to get it returned to you.
