✨ Empowering the Next Generation of Givers — A Day at Camp Give
Recently, I had the privilege of spending time with 16 incredible students from 8th and 9th grade at Camp Give, a summer program created by Magnified Giving — an organization dedicated to inspiring young people to give back, serve their communities, and become the next generation of compassionate leaders.
These students are the future, and Magnified Giving is helping secure that future by empowering young philanthropists to understand the impact of their time, talent, and treasures. Being with them was nothing short of inspiring.
💜 Sharing the Mission of The Unforgettables Foundation of Southern Ohio
I had the opportunity to talk with them about philanthropy, what it truly means, and how powerful it can be when embraced early in life. I shared the mission of The Unforgettables Foundation of Southern Ohio — how we support families experiencing the darkest moments imaginable, and how compassion can become a lifeline.
The students listened with open hearts. They asked thoughtful questions. They leaned into the idea that helping others isn’t just something you do — it’s something you become.
🕊️ A Project Filled With Heart
One of the most meaningful parts of the day was working together on a project for the families we serve. After learning about our healing boxes, the students helped design and create handwritten, heartfelt cards that will be placed inside each box we deliver.
Their words were sincere.
Their creativity was unmatched.
Their compassion was unmistakable.
These cards will become a ray of light for families walking through unimaginable darkness. Even if the comfort is small, even if the moment of relief is brief — it matters. And these kids understood that deeply.
🌟 A Blessing to Witness
The time, talent, and empathy these students poured into their work was truly unparalleled. Every family who receives one of these cards will feel the love behind it. And I know these young people will carry this experience with them as they grow into leaders who lift others up.
Being able to share our mission with them — and to see their passion for helping others — was a blessing. It reminded me that the future is bright because it’s being built by hearts like theirs.
