It’s a buzz around the day center this morning 🎀🎉💝. We are thankful to host Michael's Salon and Spa Nadia Whitley for fresh summer cuts and Job and Family Services on the Move Program for resources galore 🎉. Thank you to Christina Baldwin for Beef Teriyaki with rice, salad, and fresh strawberries 🍓 ☀️💎.

As I turned to leave our new Middletown location today after a little cleaning and a lot of praying, I snapped a picture. Just because I love the space already.

Tonight, I thought to look back through my photos for the first picture of our Dayton location.

To my surprise, these two photos- both “first pictures” of the day center locations, were taken on the same day- June 6. First one is a Dayton, 2023. Second is Middletown, 2026. Not only that, but look at the similarities in the two spaces!

I am thankful God is in the details. It gives me great confidence. Preparing for renovations 🎀

“Blessed is she who believed, for there will be a fulfillment of those things which were told her from the Lord.” — Luke 1:45

Today, our hearts are full.

For years, the vision of bringing R House Ministries to Middletown has been carried in prayer, faith, and obedience. There have been many moments when we knew God was leading but couldn’t yet see all the details. Yet, step by step, He has remained faithful.

This week, we signed a lease for our Middletown location!

As we begin renovations and prepare this space, we are reminded that every promise of God unfolds in His perfect timing. What once existed only in prayer is becoming reality before our eyes.

Please join us in rejoicing and in prayer. Pray for wisdom, provision, volunteers, partnerships, and for every woman who will one day walk through these doors searching for hope, healing, restoration, and the love of Jesus.

We are grateful, humbled, and expectant for what God will do next.

Middletown, we’re coming.

This morning, R House Ministries has the privilege of joining community partners from across the Dayton area at a resource gathering hosted by the The Salvation Army Kroc Center.

As I reflected on today’s devotional, “Build the City,” Proverbs 11:11 stood out:

“Good people bless and build up their city…”

At R House Ministries, we are grateful to be part of a network that chooses to build up rather than tear down, to serve rather than compete, and to invest in the lives of our most vulnerable neighbors. Every connection made, every partnership formed, and every resource shared helps create a stronger community for the women and families we serve.

Thank you to the Kroc Center for hosting such a meaningful gathering and for bringing together those who are committed to making a difference in Dayton.

Together, we are building the city. 💕🌱
