I apologize for the delay in my SUMMER SMASH Year 10 update, but I have had some family matters that needed my attention this week . . . any prayers are certainly appreciated. 💛

It also seems very appropriate to share this post today, since it would have been Pat and I's 38TH wedding anniversary! It seems to hard to think I've missed 10 anniversaries with him, but I am thankful every.single.day. for the 28+ years of great memories we had together!❤️

Soooo . . .SUMMER SMASH 10.0?? What a great day! We had delicious food, cold beverages, and awesome music on hand. We had K99.1, Nutrl and Carbliss folks stop by. We had HOT weather and we had WET weather. Most of all WE HAD FUN for a GREAT CAUSE! We loved having so many wonderful people show up and help us put a ✅on our decade of fundraising for Dayton Children's Hospital in Pat’s memory! 💚

As always, here’s a HUGE thank you to everyone that comes out and supports this tournament, in every single way - those that played, came to watch, sponsored a court, donated an item, bought them raffle tickets, volunteered your time to raffles/set up/tear down or helped us in any way to pull this event off – we are soooo grateful to you! 🧡

The 2026 donation isn’t final yet, but another update will be coming to share our fundraising total with you. Less than ONE week until this year’s Summer Smash tourney! Make your plans to grab your family, grab your friends and join us on SAT 8/8/2026 for a great cause! Form a team and register now or that day, play starts at 4:00. If you don’t play, stop in - buy some raffle tickets, grab a bite to eat and a cold beverage, listen to some tunes and help us raise some big big $$ for Dayton Children’s Hospital.

We’re seeking donations for our 2026 Summer Smash! 🧡💛💚
And it's so easy! We’ve learned we get lucky and get some really good stuff when we make our appeal for any items you may have to contribute to the tournament. For example: Do you have gift cards for bars/restaurants/etc that you won’t ever go to? Do you have bottles of wine or liquor that you’ve won or received as a gift that isn’t your fav? Did you get a Christmas/Birthday/Anniversary gift that just ain’t your taste? We ALWAYS reach out for any “re-gifted” items that we can use to create those awesome raffle baskets you’ve come to know and love. EVERY SINGLE DONATION helps us keep our costs low and ALL PROCEEDS GOING TO Dayton Children's Hospital in Pat’s memory.
