📚 VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! 📚
The Friends of Jones Library is looking for community members who would like to help support and strengthen our library! 💙

We have a variety of volunteer opportunities available, including:
📖 Processing and sorting book donations
🛍️ Helping with book sales
🎨 Holiday decorating
🎉 Assisting with library programs and special events
📚 Stocking and organizing the book sale room
…and more!

We are looking for both adult and teen volunteers! Teens who need volunteer or community service hours are welcome to join us! Volunteering is a great way to give back to your community, meet new people, and help our library continue to thrive! ❤️

The wait is over! We want to express a big thank you to everyone who waited patiently during our annual post-Summer Reading break. Here's everything we have for the month of September.

📚 Story Time is BACK! Join us on Wednesdays at 10 AM for singing, dancing, and literacy!
🎨 Ladies, join us on Tuesday, September 15 for custom wooden keychains.
🌮 Make tortillas with us on Tuesday, September 22 in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month.
💫 Have a wallet size picture you want to protect? Or a special trading card? Come decorate toploaders, small plastic card/photo protectors, at the library on Tuesday, September 29.

No assigned reading. No deadlines. No pressure. Just a cozy space to relax, read, and connect with other book lovers.

The Jones Public Library and The Friends of Jones Library are thrilled to host local authors Lagin King and Nicole Krashin for a special Meet & Greet. Whether you're an aspiring writer or a dedicated bookworm, this is the perfect chance to go behind the scenes of the writing world.

What to expect:

📖 The Journey: Hear both authors share their stories on how they became published writers.

🎤 Live Readings: Listen to select excerpts from their books.

🎨 Crafts & Snacks: Stick around after the readings to get creative with a fun craft and enjoy some treats!
