The City of Dayton has a survey out asking residents and people who work in the city to submit input on what they think would be the best use of the ARPA funds the city received.

Bringing back Madden may require an innovative approach with a focus on growing the game for the local kids.

First, potentially a short game practice area and short course. Re-opening Madden will never happen without the focus being on community and the future of the game.

Has anyone else noticed what's happening at Belmont in Richmond, VA?

This could be a way for golf to move forward here in Dayton at Madden.

A.W. Tillinghast and Donald Ross designed the course. Ben Hogan and Sam Snead won there. Now Belmont Golf Course is helping usher golf into the modern era.

Opened in 1929 Madden Golf Course has sure seen a lot of history and I'm sure more than a few tall tales.

Pete Brown is a large part of Madden history and we want to make sure his role in our community is never forgotten. The first black winner on the PGA Tour was the teaching professional at Madden for many years. We owe him a debt of gratitude.
