We are so excited to announce Bethesda Ministries' 2026 Women's Retreat and Men's Retreat!

Both retreats will take place from Thursday, October 15-Sunday, October 18. The women will be in Murphy, NC, and the men will be in Greeneville, TN. The focus of both retreats is learning about God's purposeful design for our lives and walking in the identity He gave us (though each retreat will cover different angles).

More specific details can be found in our Discord. Spots are limited for both retreats, so sign up soon!

"Tonight's the first time this school year that I meet for one-on-one discipleship with a student I have discipled for the past 2 years. It is nothing fancy, just a seat on my couch; yet, it is sacred work holding space for her and studying God's Word together."

There is a serious need for more social and spiritual support for Christian young adults in America, and by God's grace, we get to be a part of filling that gap in east Tennessee. We do not try to replace church involvement (our hope is for every young adult to become deeply involved with their own church), but to be a supplemental source of encouragement, discipleship, and Spirit-filled wisdom as young men and women learn to walk with Christ day in and day out.

The table is full at Game Night again!

This week, we had a build-your-own-burrito bar for dinner, caught up with the college students who were out of town over the summer, and dusted off our drawing skills for a highly-requested game of Telephone Pictionary.

We are grateful for the Game Nights and get-togethers with our smaller summer crew, but we are so excited to have college students back in the area soon! We truly miss the students over the summer and we always look forward to meeting the young men and women God brings in our path when the semester starts.

We know that the start of the fall semester can be joyful, but it can also bring stress and many other challenges. Would you join us in praying for returning and incoming college students coming to our neck of east Tennessee? Please pray with us that each of them would have a smooth transition to living at college, that God would equip them with a strong support network, and that if they would benefit from being involved with Bethesda Ministries, He would connect us with them.
