Our community has suffered more loss due to gun violence. We are called to pray for them, their loved ones and peace in the community.

The following individuals have died:

Andre Carpenter, 32
D'Ali Brown, 47
Bruce Erwin, 41
Willie Redmond, 53

We will gather for the Community Homicide Prayer Vigil this Saturday, June 13, 2025 at noon at the Seed of Life Memorial, located at 530 E. Fifth Street (next to the Trolley Stop) at the southeast end of the Oregon District in Dayton to pray for those who have died from homicide in the community over the past month and for the end to violence here and around the world. We have obtained permission from Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 272 Bainbridge Street, to use their parking lot for parking. It is around one long block from the location of the vigil.
