What a way to end our 35th Anniversary Season! Thank you to all who attended our Spring Concert- American Tapestry, and spent this wonderful evening with us! Your enthusiasm and continued support throughout this entire season means so much to all of us at MUSICA.

It has been our pleasure and privilege to sing for you this season and we can’t wait to share what we’re dreaming up for next season, so stay tuned! From all of us, THANK YOU!

We’re just over two weeks away from the MUSICA 35th Anniversary Spring Concert! This our final concert of the season featuring American choral music, including two composers local to Dayton, and featuring a text written by Ohio Poet Laureate Emeritus, Kari Gunter-Seymour, who will be in attendance! A wonderful afternoon with guest performances and gorgeous choral music, followed by a reception with prosecco and cookies. We are so excited to be singing in the gorgeous Gothic Cloister at the Dayton Art Institute on Sunday, May 3rd, at 3 pm! See you there! Tickets are only $15 at musicadayton.org

Under the direction of Ginger Minneman, with Steven Aldredge at the piano, joined by the nationally recognized Amanda Roberts on piano and hammered dulcimer, and featuring a premiere from local composer, Whittney Perez, and even a song about Dayton, Ohio from Randy Newman! Selections by Morten Lauridsen, Alice Parker & Robert Shaw, Elaine Hagenberg, Jake Runestad, and a lively arrangement of the folk song, “Cindy” by Mack Wilberg and arrangements of many more favorites.
