Last chance to hear Musica’s 35th Anniversary Spring Concert on Discover Classical’s Live & Local! “American Tapestry” Celebrating music from American Choral Composers, including two World Premieres by local composers: A Few More Years by Steven Aldredge, and Spring in the Hollow, a poem by Ohio Poet Laureate Emeritus, Kari Gunter-Seymour, set to music by Whittney Perez, and read by the poet herself before the performance! You’ll hear a wide variety of American styles and genres, and wonderful soloists. Directed by Ginger Thomas Minneman, with Steven Aldredge on piano, and Tom Sobieski on violin in the beautiful Gothic Cloister of the Dayton Art Institute. Don’t miss it!
