🎉 Happy Juneteenth!
Today we honor freedom — the kind that didn't reach Galveston, Texas until June 19, 1865. We carry that history in our name.

We're 6888 Kitchen Incubator, named for the 6888th Central Postal Directory Battalion — the only all-Black, all-female WWII battalion to serve overseas, led by Dayton's own Lt. Col. Charity Adams Earley. They showed up and changed what was possible. 💌

That same spirit lives in our entrepreneurs today — freedom through ownership, opportunity, and building something of your own. 🍽️

Our new outdoor seating has arrived at 6888 Kitchen Incubator, and we are LOVING it! We're still adding a few finishing touches, but the vibe is already giving. 🌿☀️ Come support our amazing food entrepreneurs — stop by for lunch or dinner and enjoy a great meal in the heart of downtown Dayton. Yesterday was everything. 💛✨

Two years of impact. Phase II officially underway. And a room full of people who believed in this vision before it was built.
