The official planning of the 2024 Frag swap is underway! What vendors do you want to see at the swap? Let’s all work together to make this event as successful as possible! Who plans on coming to stock up on corals and what are you looking to buy while you are there?

The Ohio Reef Frag is only 45 days away! We are looking for some volunteers that could help on the friday evening 9/15 and/or Sat 9/16. It doesn’t have to be both days or the full time, just whatever time you can spare. Volunteers will get a free frag swap staff t-shirt and early access to the swap. Volunteering is casual assistance and it will not get in the way of you enjoying the swap and visiting vendors and hobbyists. Typically most activities are before or after the swap.

Friday night at 5:30
Setup tables to the floor plan
Run extension cords for hobbyists tables
Setup raffle prizes

Saturday 9:30am
Managing door access before swap starts
Selling raffle tickets
Handing out goodie bags
Help with raffle
Ensure all booths have gfci
Clean up after swap

Hello everyone!

As we approach the event date of Saturday September 16, 2023 I just want to put a little update and let everyone know that the swap is fully booked! I currently have 10 vendors along with 10 hobbyist that will be bringing their best pieces to the Ohio Reef Frag Swap 2023. Things are looking great for the event and I will continue to post updates as the weeks go by and we get closer to the event date!

Things are coming together for the swap! Vendors and Hobbyist are all confirmed, still a little bit of room if anyone is interested in setting up a booth.

Picked up Aquarium Artisans as the event sponsor, they have an excellent store located in Springdale OH. Check them out and give them a follow to see the installs they do along with a great store front!

Booth options:
-Vendor Booth ? 10 x 10 booth- $100 Comes with (1) 8 ft table and 2 chairs. However you are more than welcome to bring your own and setup however you would like, with approval from host. Vendors are also required to donate to the raffle (a $50 gift card or specific frag valued at $50).
-Hobbyist table ? $50 includes 4ft table and 2 chairs. We will also have a narrow table behind each booth to hold your supplies needed for selling.

Setup can begin at 5:00pm ? 10:00pm Friday September 16th and 7:00am Saturday morning the 16th. For information on participating as a vendor please email [email protected]

Tables supplied are normal 8ft folding tables? that will not support a large amount of weight. Please limit the size (weight) of the tanks to 20 gallons or less of water volume (tank size can be larger, but must only contain 20 gallons of water or less). All unsafe set-ups will be asked to be taken down as we want to try and avoid any accidents. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us via E-mail at [email protected]

All vendor and hobbyists with tanks are required to bring their own GFCI. You will not be allowed to setup at the swap without one connected to your outlet. There will not be any exceptions
