The Veterans Affairs of Dawson County We are a group of citizens, community leaders and Veterans whose goal and purpose is to work together to honor our veterans.

The Veterans Affairs of Dawson County was organized in 2004 by a small group of concerned citizens whose purpose was to ensure that military veterans of the country received proper recognition and honors. We sponsor activities on Memorial Day, Veterans Day and POW/MIA Day. The organization has been responsible for the Serenity Garden and Walk of Honor at Veterans Memorial Park, Highway 9 North, Da

wsonville. We are not affiliated with the Veterans Administration but contact with offices and individuals who can lend support and assist Veterans in need is maintained.
