18 days away! Presenting our FIRST 6 week hand building course, starting Tuesday, October 13th. This is a midweek class that is on Tuesday mornings. Expect a small, easy going, morning class that will be the highlight of your week. This is a super flexible course. If you need to leave early, you can! If you have a baby you need to bring, bring ‘em! I’ll have mine. If you have a Pinterest board full of items you want to make, you can use these techniques to bring them to life. ☺️

We’ll cover coil building, slab building, and some dinnerware options! Please note, the pottery wheel is not taught during this course. We’ll be working at tables, making different forms come to life.

Our Beginner Pottery Wheel 6 week class starts in two weeks! We’ll meet every Saturday morning from 9:30-12. You’ll learn to make all kinds of pots, including bowls, small vases and cups! I can’t believe our little baby is four weeks old. I’ve been soaking up all of the newborn snuggles with her, but it was time for me to make some pottery again! We set up a little work station for me at home so I can do something that makes me feel like me again while she naps.

In this video, I am dipping red clay pots in a white clay slip. After it dries, I will use a small knife and scratch through the white slip, illustrating designs on the surface. This is my favorite step of the process.

I’m still soaking up the sweet days on maternity leave with my lil baby, but I had to pop on here to remind you guys that in just over 3 WEEKS, our pottery 101 course begins! We have 2 more seats available in this class! I don’t offer this one too often, so make sure to jump in on it!

Pottery 101 is a 6 week course for beginners who are wanting to learn the basics of the pottery wheel! We meet every Saturday morning from 9:30-12. You get 24/7 access to the studio during the week to practice, as well as one make up class if you need to miss a session! No experience needed. You’ll learn to make bowls, cups, and more! This class is always the highlight of my teaching schedule. Come join me!!

This potter is officially on Maternity Leave as we wait for our first baby to arrive! What does this mean for you? Good news! Our studio isn’t closed. We are still open as a venue rental for your events, and our pottery studio memberships are still active for those who have completed extended courses with me in the past!

Classes will resume in October when I slowly start back teaching. We are kicking off with our most popular 6 week Beginner Pottery Wheel Course. ALL classes for the fall are listed on our website and are available for sign ups now!

Saturday morning chores! There are a lot of things that happen to your pieces after you leave your class with us. One of them is glazing! This is a very forgivable white glaze we make in house. It doesn’t run or show drips, so it’s a favorite of mine when we do large events like this mug workshop for a staff retreat. ✨
