Hey Davison friends!!

See our video below regarding our upcoming 40th CAMEL RACES happening March 7th from 6-11pm.

What we need:

- Any donations from individuals or small business for our SUPER RAFFLE. This is a great way to showcase your business!

- Additional tickets sales. $40 a piece. This includes dinner. BYOB (bring your own beverage... alcohol is OK!)

What we have already:

- All camel sponsorships, All race sponsorships, all ad spaces are SOLD OUT 🤩

- time tested plans for a super fun evening 🐪

- prizes to raffle off, and a booze basket too 🍻

- a state lottery license for betting on your favorite camels, and many 50/50 drawings held throughout the evening! 💵

This iconic Davison tradition returns March 7 to celebrate 40 years of laughs, friendly competition, and giving back. Every dollar raised stays local, supporting youth programs, scholarships, and families right here in our community through the Davison Optimist Club.

On this beautiful hump day, I would like to say THANK YOU to all our great sponsors: camel sponsors, race sponsors, advertising sponsors and donation sponsors who helped to create this 39th year event! Much appreciation goes out to all the Optimist members and Workers behind the scenes; who without them- this would never take place. And finally to all those participants who purchased tickets, betting slips, 50/50 drawings, Great 8 Pickem and super raffle tickets: YOU help the Optimists bring out the best in kids around the community by your support!

HUMPS UP: This year we do not have three awesome trips for the Super Raffle, we have SEVEN!! These have been graciously donated by Elite Island Resorts. The super raffle is loaded with all kinds of fantastic items donated by so many local businesses so please plan accordingly ($$)!!!

The 2024 Camel Race tickets are going fast! If you are interested in attending don't wait. We sell out every year!

Here's how to purchase tickets:

1. Send an email to [email protected] with your name, phone number, and the number of tickets needed.
2. We will email you an invoice that can be paid online.
3. Tickets can be mailed or held for pick up at the door the night of the event.

Tickets are $35 each which includes a buffet style dinner catered by Qdoba, non alcoholic beverages, and door prizes.

BYOB - We do not sell alcohol at this event. This is a bring your own booze event (ok to bring coolers).

Doors open on Saturday, March 2nd at 6:00PM
Dinner 6:00pm to 7:30pm
Race 1 starts at 7:30pm
8 Races Total
50/50's, Door Prizes, Silent Auction, Great 8 Pick'em
