One Campus Health Coalition - UC Davis With this in mind, the Coalition is composed of students and various on-campus health-related student organization representatives.

The One Campus Health Coalition (OCHC) at UC Davis, a student-run health organization, is founded based on the universal recognition that health is interconnected within all aspects of student life and the innumerable importance of health organizations coming together as a collective on one shared mission that embodies the university’s mission statement: service to our communities and to our socie

ty. We collectively work on:

1) The creation of health resources compiled by and for students
2) Create forums on prevalent health and wellness issues and concerns affecting the student population
3) Increase communication between health related organizations on campus
4) And orchestrate an annual H.E.A.L.T.H. Colloquium that features many student representatives to formulate strategies on strengthening health activities on-campus

Applications for Wellness Ambassadors are due Feb 16. Learn more and apply today: https://shcs.ucdavis.edu/about/employment-mindspa.html
"Being a Wellness Ambassador has been a wonderful experience because it has allowed me to establish connections with a lot of compassionate and fun people, and to become a part of a community that always has my back. It's rewarding to hear positive feedback from students after they've used the Mind Spa." - Lila Tyler, 2015-16 Wellness Ambassador

"I love being a Wellness Ambassador because the Mind Spa is such a positive and supportive work environment. We are so passionate about helping students and our camaraderie reflects this. We are coworkers but more importantly friends.” - Alexandra Magnani, 2015-16 Wellness Ambassador

"I think the best part of being a Wellness Ambassador is knowing that you get to help the students out on campus. Even if it's just a couple minutes on the massage chair or having someone to talk to, helping them out in any little way really makes a difference in the end. That's what I love!” - Euori Tokunaga, 2015-15 Wellness Ambassador

Hello all, Positions are available working with the Coalition!-------

The One Campus Health Coalition, a student-run health organization on campus is recruiting for Assistant Directors. The Coalition seeks to help students reach their full health potential on campus, providing a centralized area for health resources that are available to all students as well as serving to increase collaboration and communication for all health bodies on campus. Assistant directors will be directly speaking with campus health administration and student health organizations, be in charge of a designated part of the initiative (H.E.A.L.T.H. Colloquiums, creation of health guidebooks, health campaigns) and most importantly, solidifying the student voice on health matters on campus. No experience in health areas is required (however, Public Health and Health organization and campaign experience is a plus), but willingness and dedication to the position and a passion to increasing health resource visibility to the student population. The position is at least a year term. Weekly commitment would include attending initiative meetings (1-2hrs/week), and independently working on designated area of initiative(1-2 hrs/week). If interested, please email [email protected] by Wednesday 11/18 for more information about the Coalition and the position. Position is needed immediately.
