Continuing our game of catch-up (🫣) our next Meet Your Kiwanis Member Spotlight is Tami Edmoundson!

Tami officially joined our club in October 2019, but she's been tethered to our club for many years through her husband, Ryan. She's a great help when it comes scholarship time and you can see her putting out flags on our Flag Patrol and decorating several trees for Breakfast with Santa! She's also served as the 2023-2024 Club President. On the day to day, she is the Davis Elementary Counselor (where she juggles many hats!) and loves hanging with the littlest Wolves!

She and Ryan have two boys, Braxton (12) and Boston (5), and they keep them hoppin'! Between basketball, 4H, baseball and t-ball, they are constantly on the go! She obtained her Bachelors at Oklahoma State University and her Masters from East Central University. In addition to Kiwanis, she is an alumni of Leadership Murray County, Class 6. She and her family are members of Crossway Baptist Church.

Her favorite part of being in Kiwanis is community events involving kids! We're so glad she's in our club!

We've gotten a smidgen behind on posting our Meet Your Kiwanis Member Spotlight! So, we're going to slowly make up for that in April! Our first Spotlight is Ben Randall!

Ben joined our club in May 2023, but you might recognize him as the big man in red from one of our BIGGEST AND MOST FUN annual events...Breakfast with Santa! He's also served as the emcee for our annual Oratorical Contest for the last several years and is a faithful member, seldom missing a meeting, often offering the opening prayer. He was award the Kiwanis Rookie of the Year in 2025.

For many years, he worked as engineer for Telco Supply. In 2018, he and his wife, Debrah (who you'll recognize from her years at Dr Eggenberg's office and Landmark Bank) both retired and began the next chapter which they are enjoying to the fullest! They have one son, Scott. In his spare time, he enjoys photography (often taking pictures for Davis kids) and traveling. The sweet spot of retirement is when the two coincide! He is a faithful member of the Pathway Church of Davis, where he serves as a Sunday School teacher and member of the worship team. He's always has a pocketful of suckers and Smarties for the kids and is known as the 'Candy Man' by many! He is also an active member of Impact Kids.

His favorite thing about Kiwanis is the impact they make on the lives of Davis Kids, especially through the Kiwanis family programs: K-Kids, Builders Club and Key Club (which you can see tracks with the above information - he is ALL about the kids 😁) We are truly blessed to have Ben in our Club!
