Hillel at Davis and Sacramento The center of Jewish life at UC Davis, CSU Sacramento, and the surrounding colleges 🤍 We are the center for Jewish life at UC Davis and CSU Sacramento.

Our mission is simple: to enhance the lives of Jewish college students so they can enrich the Jewish community and the world. Our programs and events are wide-ranging. The students have opportunities to participate in a community service project, express themselves artistically, participate in a social event, engage in Jewish learning, or attend religious services. The students shape their own com

munity. We offer an internship program and many other leadership opportunities. Any student may participate in Hillel. There are no membership requirements. Hillel is committed to a pluralistic vision that embraces all movements. Whatever your interests might be- social activities, Israel, community service, religion, athletics, or Jewish culture- Hillel has something going on for you. We can't wait to see you!

Hillel at Davis and Sacramento is seeking an Assistant Director to help lead and strengthen Jewish student life across UC Davis, Sacramento State, and beyond!

This role is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supervising staff, mentoring student leaders, overseeing programs and events, building campus and community partnerships, and helping guide the strategic direction of our organization.

The Assistant Director works closely with our leadership team to create vibrant, welcoming, and engaging experiences for students.
Whether you're an experienced professional in higher education, nonprofit leadership, community engagement, or student affairs, or know someone who would be a great fit, we’d love to connect

As another incredible year comes to a close, we're celebrating the 7 amazing interns who helped make Jewish life at Hillel at Davis and Sacramento stronger, more vibrant, and more connected. 💙
From planning programs and building community to welcoming new faces and creating meaningful experiences, these student leaders brought passion, creativity, and dedication to everything they did.

It's hard to put into words just how much Lyric has meant to our Hillel community. 💙
This past year, Lyric has brought creativity, passion, warmth, and an unwavering commitment to our students. Whether building relationships, creating meaningful experiences, or simply showing up with a smile, Lyric has left an incredible mark on our community.
While we're sad to see her go, we're so excited for this next chapter and all the amazing opportunities ahead. We know she'll continue to inspire and make an impact wherever she goes.

Happy week 10 Aggies!!!

As the school year comes to an end we have some events to help you wind down before finals!!
Today (Monday) come hang out with Lyric and craft from 3-5pm!
On Tuesday join us for our final Tuesday Brunch of the quarter featuring more of Chef Eli's chicken schnitzel. And later on in the day join Rabbi Mendel to learn about Jewish Infighting.
Lastly in Wednesday, our seniors are celebrating the end of the school year with a dinner just for them. (This is invite only, please only join us if you received the evite. If you are graduating and didn't get an invite dm us!)
