Our bargaining is moving into some of the contract areas crucial to enabling librarians to function and excel as academics.

We passed a proposal on sabbatical leave to give librarians the opportunity to become more effective scholars and to enhance our service to the University.

Zoom bargaining worked great. And we were joined by dozens of librarians, lecturers, and other observers representing every UC campus.✊

We had a productive librarian contract bargaining session at UCLA on January 19. Our table team passed proposals on flexible work arrangements, professional development, recognition, and more.
