Yolo County Children’s Alliance is excited to announce our 11th Annual Back to School Resource Fair! Join us on Saturday, July 25, 2026, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM at River City High School for a morning dedicated to helping local students start the school year prepared and ready to succeed.

Each year, this community event brings together families, volunteers, schools, businesses, and community partners to ensure children have access to the resources they need for a successful school year.

🎒 Backpacks are available to Yolo County youth while supplies last. Proof of Yolo County residence is required.

June is Pride Month — a time to celebrate the resilience, leadership, and contributions of the LGBTQ+ community, while also recognizing the ongoing work needed to achieve true equality. 🏳️‍🌈

At Yolo County Children’s Alliance, we believe strong communities are built when everyone is treated with dignity, respect, and belonging. Pride is both a celebration and a reminder that LGBTQ+ individuals still face barriers to safety, opportunity, and full inclusion.

We are committed to standing with the LGBTQ+ community and continuing the work of building a more equitable, inclusive community for all.

At Yolo County Children’s Alliance, we see every day how powerful a mother’s love can be — whether it’s showing up through challenges, advocating for a child’s future, building stability, or creating opportunities for the next generation to thrive.

To all the moms and caregivers in our communities: thank you for the sacrifices you make, the comfort you give, and the strength you carry, even on the hardest days.

Because of your generosity, Yolo County Children’s Alliance raised $12,034 through Big Day of Giving, surpassing our $10,000 goal. This total includes the generous Nugget Markets match.

Thank you to everyone who gave, shared, reposted, and helped spread the word. Your support will help YCCA continue providing direct services for local children and families, including home visiting, parenting support, emergency food and housing assistance, and more.

We are so grateful for this community and for everyone who showed up for children and families in Yolo County.
