Join us in welcoming Mrs. Cathy Whitt to our team! If her name sounds familiar, it’s because Cathy has long been a dedicated partner to Extension. She has served in multiple volunteer capacities and most recently as the Broward County 4‑H Association Chair.

Cathy is joining us through a National 4‑H Council grant to lead the Health Rocks! program for middle school youth. Last Wednesday marks her first official day, and she’s already off to a strong start. She is delivering vaping‑prevention lessons to 250 students at Indian Ridge Middle School and working with BCPS Innovative Learning to bring our programming into virtual classrooms next school year.

Her passion for youth health education is unmistakable, and we are excited for the impact she will make.
