We want to thank the Moose Lodge in Davie for choosing us as the nonprofit to receive funds raised playing poker.🤨🃏

These folks are not gambling -
they’re playing for fun - and for charity. Each player pays a flat rate of $25. Then the proceeds are donated to a monthly charity. 😇😇

They are a bunch of wonderful people!! Thanks to Tammy Ch***pa for making this happen for Showering Love!!😃😃😃

This is Marshall. He’s originally from Atlanta.

His car broke down which led to a rough situation. He ended up homeless now for about a year. When he saw us, he approached a team member and immediately signed up for a shower!

We don’t know all their stories - but they all have one thing in common - their lives have changed and now they’re without a home. We don’t judge - we just listen - then we give them a shower and clean clothes. And if we’re doing our job right, they leave with a little more hope and a little more dignity.

This is Victor Sanchez, a Cuban born American citizen. 🙋🏻‍♂️

He told us that in 2002 his wife died. He became so depressed that he wanted to commit suicide!!This led to a hospital stay in
2024. 😳

He ended up on the street - and a social worker named Julie told him about Showering Love. We are hoping that a shower and access to local resources will help him get his life back. 👍

This is another example of how a person can become homeless - without having a substance abuse disorder - this man was suffering from grief 😢. So we give him a shower, some clean clothes and pray for him. 🤗🙏

Our Showering Love CEO, Jeanne Lewis Albaugh, dropped off some Bombas slides to the Hollywood Community Court. 😃

Bombas made a huge donation of these comfortable slides to Showering Love to distribute over Easter. What a remarkable gift from them! So generous!!😇

Recently, Showering Love was in a business meeting with one of our board members, Dr. Richard Quadracci, and attorney Steve Krause. Dr Quadracci informed us he would be making a a very generous donation to Showering Love!! 👏🏼

We’re so grateful for his support! He has been a great supporter of Showering Love’s mission for years now. He has such a huge heart for our homeless community ❤️❤️❤️

Showering Love provides showers rain or shine. Showers are important in any weather - don’t we all take a shower whether it’s raining or the sun is shining? ☔️🌞

No matter what - unless there’s a hurricane - we are out there ready to help people who need us. 💨

We will be in need of raincoats, umbrellas, etc. if you would like to donate, you can drop off at 4157 SW. 54th Ave., Davie, FL.🧥🌂

Showering Love is so happy to donate school supplies to the Heart Program! Thanks Janie Boyle for picking up the supplies and distributing them to boys and girls who are in need. Children are our future!🙏

We often get donations of items that we can’t use for ourselves - so we find another nonprofit who can use those items! Then everyone is happy!😃
