Fighting Deadly Diseases TOGETHER
Building Community Immunity - 501c3 RESCUE Collaboration!

For next year, and in light of recent increased reports of Leptospirosis diagnosed in stray dogs in our community, we are expanding our Vaccine Outreach Program.
Over the past couple of years, the tireless volunteers at No Paw Left Behind have worked to fundraise and provide direct veterinary care for thousands of pets in our communities.
As you may know, one of our most successful outreach programs continues to be our Community Cat Emergency Medical Program. With the generosity of our donors and grants, we have been able to help cover the medical expenses for hundreds of emergency medical situations for our community cats, AND we have purchased over 2000 FVRCP vaccines that have been given out for free to cats getting sterilized (TNR/RTF).
Our approach is simple: where there is a need, we identify ways to maximize our positive impacts. This means we contact other rescuers and help them cover medical expenses or supply vaccines. That way they can focus on fostering and adoption, while we help cover the cost of vet bills.
The benefits cannot be overstated: When rescues come together and buy vaccines IN BULK, we can significantly reduce the costs of protecting our pets and increase community immunity.
Vaccines help rescues save more lives and prevent suffering
Organizing reduced-cost vaccine programs helps many different organizations!
The more pets that are vaccinated, the less rescues will need to spend treating diseases
Reducing the cost of vaccines helps rescues spend their funding on more specific medical care
Cost of the Vaccines at a Vet Office:
Dog: DHPP+L ---> $45 - $100 per vaccine (requires two vaccines to complete, not counting the exam fee)
Dog: cost of treating Parvo or Distemper can easily be $3,000 - $10,000 and there is no guarantee of recovery
Cat: FVRCP ---> $40 - $65 (not counting the exam fee)
Cat: cost of treating Panleuk can be $3,000 and up, with VERY few cases surviving, even with the best of care and unlimited funds
Cost of the Vaccines in Bulk:
Dog: DHPP+L ---> $8 - $10 per vaccine (requires two vaccines to complete) May be less, still shopping bulk prices
Cat: FVRCP ---> $2.32 - $5
