On March 13, 2020, most of the world shut down… but not Merlie’s Giborim United at the J.

Within one week, our community came together, went virtual, and continued creating connection, friendship, laughter, and belonging for individuals with developmental disabilities and their families.

Today, our GibConnect Virtual Program is still going strong — bringing people together from near and far through interactive classes, social opportunities, creativity, movement, and community.

Distance doesn’t separate us… it connects us in new ways
