Jillian Crocker is a second-year Ph.D. student at Nova Southeastern University. Jillian earned a Bachelor of Science in psychology and business management at the University of Minnesota, where she also worked as a research coordinator at the Medical School's Center for Magnetic Resonance Research. With extensive experience working with older adults, active duty service members, veterans, caregivers, and those with traumatic brain injuries and Alzheimer's disease, she has expertise in many areas. In response to the increasing number of older adults, Jillian pursued higher education to address their needs. She investigates how the environment contributes to neurocognitive disorders and relationship distress for adults 55+. As a geropsychologist, she hopes to combat anti-aging stereotypes and promote resilience among older adults. She is passionate about geology, photography, and volunteering with the Alzheimer's Association.
