Different people within our community coming together to frame 3 houses in 2 days! Unknown neighbors in places like North Myrtle Beach, Myrtle Beach, Surfside Beach, Loris, Little River and Conway set aside some time and resources to make a difference in the lives hit hardest by disasters across the United States. It’s quite a connection…as those blessed with much reach out to those that can only
dream about it. New friendships are forged while we serve together, across organizational, denominational, municipal and other lines. We’re living proof that any endeavor is far more effective through collaboration. CitiIMPACT Ministries provides opportunities to engage people in missions in their local community in building houses and sheds through their Building Hope Initiatives. The first Grand Strand Initiative will be hosted on the campus of Carolina Forest Community Church. There will be different teams coming together to build 9 sheds and 2 house in 2 days! Above the background music, there’s encouragement, good-natured comments and a lot of laughter, as old and new friends combine their hearts and efforts. What you won’t see is on the grateful receiving end of families lives being changed because us coming together to create hope for them in the midst of their disaster. This is a partnership between our community and CitiIMPACT, a nonprofit ministry organization that brings help and hope through collaboration for those in need.
