Public Archaeology Day a Holly Bend!

Local archaeologists from the society will be on-hand to tour the public through the main house and around the grounds. This site has been the location of several seasons of archaeological field schools and thus has many artifacts to display. We will have a GPR on hand for demonstrations of geophysical techniques. We will also have an artifact washing station and will encourage visitors to participate in this activity. For smaller children, we will have a sandbox to dig for "artifacts".
