🟡 Day 2 State FFA Recap 🔵
We are so proud of how everyone did yesterday in their competitions! Students also took in a morning session and did a community service meal packing event. We got news this morning that our Agriscience team made the top five and Kayla made the top ten individuals! This is the largest contest - with 600 individuals and 150 teams. 🟡 Day 1 State FFA Recap 🔵
We had 10 students travel down to Lincoln for the 98th Nebraska FFA Convention! We explored East Campus with a scavenger hunt, took in the vendors in PBA with bingo and attended the opening session. It was a great first day!

Yesterday we competed at our final round of district career development events to qualify for state in March! With 29 members competing, they all did very well. Everyone learned something new and are eager to try again next year. We had two teams qualify for state competition in March - Meats Evaluation - DISTRICT CHAMPIONS and Agriscience. We are looking forward to a great experience at State FFA Convention!

Last week we competed at our first round of district career development events to qualify for state in March! While we didn't have any qualifiers in a highly competitive district, we competed very well and came close in a few contests. Everyone tried something new and we had many new members competing for the first time. We look forward to competing again on February 16 for our final chance to make it to state!
