What if nonprofits stopped trying to do everything alone… and started building together?

At Rising Together, we believe true community transformation happens through collaboration — shared resources, shared spaces, shared opportunities, and shared trust.

No one organization can be everything to everyone, but together we can create long-term stability for families instead of temporary solutions.

From partnering with therapists and local nonprofits to creating opportunities for students through childcare and workforce development, our vision is simple:

Different strengths. Same mission.

Together, we are building more than programs —
We are building a legacy of hope. 💜

Kindness is often mistaken for weakness in a world that celebrates toughness, silence, and independence. But true kindness takes strength. It takes courage to choose compassion when it is easier to judge. It takes emotional strength to support others while carrying your own struggles.

Kindness does not mean being fragile — it means being strong enough to lead with empathy, patience, and understanding. Some of the strongest people are the ones who lift others up, offer encouragement, and create safe spaces for healing.

A kind word can calm anxiety.
A listening ear can save someone from feeling alone.
A simple act of compassion can restore hope.

Kindness is powerful because it changes lives without demanding recognition. It builds stronger communities, healthier relationships, and reminds people they matter.

Kindness is not weakness.
It is strength in action.

💛 Question of the Day:
How did your kindness impact someone recently?

Maybe you checked on a friend who was struggling, helped a stranger without expecting anything in return, encouraged someone having a hard day, or simply listened when someone needed to be heard.

Small acts. Big impact.
Share your story below and inspire someone else to lead with kindness.

The freedoms we enjoy today—our family picnics, children playing in the park, and peaceful community gatherings—were bought with a heavy price.

It’s easy to take these moments for granted, but when we let division take over, we lose sight of what our heroes fought for. This Memorial Day, let's honor the ultimate sacrifice by committing to a better path forward. Let's bring back respectful, peaceful debate, meet in the middle, and work together to find solutions for all of us. 🕊️🇺🇸

Remembering today and always.

What happens to the brilliant students who get left behind simply because they aren't traditional test-takers? At Rising Together Inc., we believe an exam score doesn't dictate a teenager's potential to innovate, lead, or build a business.

It’s okay not to be okay. Some days are heavier than others, and healing is not always loud or visible. You do not have to pretend to be strong every moment or carry your struggles in silence. Give yourself permission to rest, to feel, to ask for help, and to take things one step at a time. Your feelings are valid, your story matters, and brighter days can still find you — even after the darkest nights. Be gentle with yourself. You are doing the best you can, and that is more than enough.

Behind every smile may be a silent battle we cannot see. Mental health challenges do not make someone weak, dramatic, or broken — they make them human. A little kindness, patience, and understanding can go further than judgment ever will. Instead of criticizing what you don’t understand, choose to listen, encourage, and support. Your words have power. Be the reason someone feels safe, valued, and not alone. In a world where you can be anything, be supportive — not judgmental.

Your "Day One" Story Could Be Their "Day One" Inspiration

At Rising Together Village, we believe that entrepreneurship isn't just about high-tech startups—it’s about the grit of the trades, the creativity of a balloon business, and the courage it takes to start with a single tool or a single idea.

We are looking for Mentors for our upcoming 10-week program.

Are you a small business owner in Polk County? Did you build your dream from the ground up with little more than a vision and hard work? Whether you run a plumbing company, a landscaping business, or a creative boutique, our students need to hear your "How I Did It" story.

We need mentors who can speak on:
* Turning a skill into a paycheck.
* Overcoming the "starting small" hurdles.
* Building a business with low overhead but high heart.

Join the Village. Help us show the next generation that their dreams are within reach, one step at a time.

DM me or comment "MENTOR" to learn how you can share your journey in our 10-week curriculum.

just hit "publish" on the second article in my LinkedIn series. While the first post introduced the physical 5-acre dream, this one gets to the core of why we are doing this and how it will actually transform our community.

I’ll be honest: I am incredibly excited, but I’m also a realist. We have a long way to go. There are hills to climb, foundations to pour, and challenges we haven't even met yet. But the "why" makes every step worth it.

Through She Rises, Young Men Rising, and Future Forward Entrepreneurs, we are building more than a program—we are creating a roadmap for trauma healing, communication, and radical self-confidence. We are bringing lasting, generational change to Polk County.

The journey is just beginning, and I’m so grateful to have you all walking it with us.
