We are located in the historic Jipp Grocery Store at 732 Gaines Street in Davenport, Iowa, the Architectural Rescue Shop displays, preserves, and sells antique architectural items. The shop is located at the southwest corner of
West 8th St. I suggest you park on West 8th St towards the rear of the shop since we use the back door for access and just call my cell phone 563-271-8344 when you are there.
100% of the shop's profits benefit the Gateway Redevelopment Group, a non-profit focused on preserving historic structures and neighborhoods in our community. Contractors, Homeowners, Do-it-yourselfers, before you throw out those old architectural items, please call us!! Because the ARS is a part of the Gateway Redevelopment Group, all donations are tax deductible. We routinely provide letters detailing donations for tax purposes. Furthermore, we have the resources and skills to safely and correctly remove your old architectural items while saving you labor costs and dumping fees! We carry full liability insurance covering all our salvage operations and can provide donors a Certificate of Insurance. Help preserve our heritage by saving your old doors, windows, woodwork, plumbing, cabinets, and hardware and donating them to ARS! These items can then be used to help restore other older homes in the Quad Cities, as well as raise money to assist in their preservation.
