Papa T loved the golf outing. He would enthusiastically ride around the course telling some great jokes, maybe heckle a few of you hackers and be present at the after party for as long as he could. We really miss him as this was a special day that we all looked forward to sharing with him.

Definitely does not seem like it has been 10 years since we honored the life of "Baby Doc". We all wished we were not there for the devastating loss the Shovlains endured.

Courtney, Aaron, Josie and Aida Kaffenberger will always keep Ian's spirit and memory alive every chance they get. They have sponsored a hole every year since Ian was our recipient. We came together that day to raise a lot of money in Ian's memory that was donated to Camp Shalom.

This year, the Kaffenberger's were chosen as the ambassador family for the Run with Carl race. They will be selling some sweet Kaffs Crew shirts. They invite us all to show up for Carl in support of Ian as well. Courtney will send us the shirt link when it is available which we will share with all of you. We hope you are all able to support the Kaffenbergers as they continue to bless us with their support!

In Memory of Grandma Patt

Cathy and Chase Cartee, the dynamic duo at Cartee Law Firm, is our first CONCERT business sponsor. They are honoring their late mom and grandma with this very generous donation.

In their words...

Grandma Patt (Zamora) loved giving back to the community in many ways. She dedicated her life to helping so many people through her work and volunteerism.

She was the best role model her kids and grandkids could have. Patt loved the Cartee Open and what it grew into today. She was very proud of her grandkids when they started to be more involved.

Her devoted husband, John, has played in the golf outing multiple times over the years. John is planning to play this year again at the young age of 88.

Patt passed away in 2025 but her memory lives on thru her children and grandchildren.

What a beautiful way to honor Patt!
