UUCQC Lesbian Book Club

Due to lack of participation and a decrease of my availability the book club is being put on hold. We may start up again if there is an interest, but at this time my wife and I were the only two that have gone to the majority of the meetings. I encourage everyone to check out the other available activities at the UU church.

December meeting postponed till Jan. December is a pretty busy month for everyone. The congregation is having a Winter Solstice service at 5:30 that night if anyone is interested in going.

We meet Saturday at 6:30 at the UU church. This month's book is the Penguin Book of Le***an Short Stories, or share a short story that you like.

Authors included in the book are Gertrude Stein, Virginia Woolf, Colette, Radcliff Hall, Ann Bannon and many many more.

Sue and I had a really good discussion about If I Was Your Girl. I highly recommend this book. At the end of the book there is a question and answer with the author, other book recommendations and discussion questions.

We will be discussing If I Was Your Girl on Saturday the 19th at 6:30 pm. In November will will be talking about stories from The Penguin Book of Le***an Short Stories edited by Margaret Reynolds, or any short stories that you would like to share.
