A few weeks ago we celebrated the end of another wonderful session of English class with dozens of students, volunteers, and community members. It was an absolute joy to acknowledge the hard work, time, and effort put into these 16-weeks of class. Twice a week families are driven by volunteer drivers to and from class at Tapestry Farms where students gather to learn with their teachers, toddlers are guided in play by caring adults, and little ones sleep in the arms of our "baby cuddlers." We are so grateful for the students and volunteers who bring all of this learning to life. What a gift!

Are you sitting down? We’ve got some big news…

A few weeks ago, more than 500 people gathered for our annual Spring Fling benefit to celebrate community, welcome, and the incredible resilience of refugee families in the Quad Cities. We shared food, music, stories, flowers—and a belief that acts of kindness really do matter.

And because of the outrageous generosity of our community, together we raised $103,623.48!!! 🎉🎉🎉

We’re still pinching ourselves. At a time when refugee families are facing enormous challenges, your support means access to food, housing, healthcare, legal support, education, community, and more.

THANK YOU for being the kind of community that continues to show up with compassion and courage. We are so incredibly grateful.

THANK YOU SO MUCH to everyone who made our Mother’s Day effort a huge success!!!

We are grateful to everyone who purchased flowers, chocolates, or both … and for our staff and volunteers who prepped over 2,000(!) flower stems, put together 145(!) bouquets, and made and labeled 100 boxes of Dubai Chocolate!!! Amazing!!!!

The bouquets and bud vases completely sold out and the chocolates came close! Because of YOU, we're able to employ our farm team in the making of all products AND put all of our profits back to the social services that Tapestry Farms offers like rent, food, and legal assistance.
