Well we gave it our best shot. But it looks like we must, for now, close the doors to Gabby’s Treasure’s for a while. With slow to no sales some weeks we have to consider what’s best for our future of helping folks. Also at the same time we have some health issues that require my wife to rest more and take care of herself for a minute. For now we will self fund meals for one day a week. As I have taken on a full time morning job to help with these slow times.
So much work goes into the resale shop by my wife, washing, ironing, ect. it just doesn’t make sense at this point to continue as is. We will be having a Sale starting next week to clear out inventory and let The Hippie Life recoup its space. We appreciate all of you who have shopped and made it possible to serve over 8000 free hot meals last year. We are forever grateful for your help. We shall hopefully one day reopen Gabby’s when the time is right again. We are still here and will continue to help feed folks in different ways. We love you all and hope you still stop by The Hippie Life now and then just to say hi if nothing else. ✌️ ❤️
