Thank you RIA Federal Credit Union for your support We have coats now for most sizes but winter is just starting. Children in elementary school cannot go out to play without coats boots and snow pants at school so we are grateful

After weeks of collecting, we were able to drop off the multiple boxes of coats from our drive to The Clothing Center at Minnie's Maison, where they provide free clothes to anyone in need.

Seeing the generosity from everyone who donated has been truly heartwarming. These coats will go straight to people who need them most this season, and that’s all thanks to our community coming together

Our Story

Formerly known as Sacred Heart Cathedral Clothing Center, we have been serving those in need of the Quad Cities since 1973. We have no paid staff and we are run by volunteers. Our primary focus is on clothing but we do accept and distribute household items (working appliances, kitchenware, blankets, towels, and bedding, etc.), furniture, toys, hygiene items, and most electronics (no old televisions or computer equipment). If you are interested in donating, please make sure that clothes are laundered, free of pet hair, and can still be worn without appearing outdated.

Due to the generosity of many donors, clothing donations are regularly placed into the Donation Shed, which is open 24 hours of the day. Tireless volunteers sort & display items donated. The boutique -like setting allows customers to shop on Wednesdays & Saturdays from 10-noon.

Shoppers can shop twice a month and take advantage of the free service.
