Students are set up on their own educational program based on their ability in each subject not by their age. This means a student may be taking a 3rd grade math class and 5th grade history class at the same time. Think one room school house theory. This allows them to grasp the foundations of a subject they are weak in or just at grade level before moving on and not being held back in the subjects that they excel at. This also encourages them to look at subjects of interest related to the areas they are excelling in. It gives them time to focus on getting a firm understanding of what they may need in that area they struggle in without being afraid to try because they see they are allowed to use their strengths as well. We utilize virtual instruction programs, remediation, enrichment, programs for gifted and talented / advanced students, special education, and have partnered with the Civil Air Patrol for various programs. Each student is given an education course plan that is best for their needs. Each student will have the opportunity to explore their individual interest(s) as well. Educational field trips, outings, and events are also a part of a our hands on educational experience design. Every child gets the program that is needed for them to succeed. There is no one style of learning fit for all and we know this and want to make sure each child gets what they need to succeed.
