Saturday: 9:00am - 5:00pm
Sunday: 9:00am - 3:00pm

BREAKING: After winter tightened its grip and the ice kept coming, Pennsylvania officials reached a practical conclusion. If you predict the snow, you help deal with the aftermath. Punxsutawney Phil has been officially reassigned as a mobile winter response asset.

Dressed in an orange jumpsuit and loaded down with an unopened bag of rock salt, Phil is now being transported wherever snow and ice hit hardest. No fixed location. No honorary duties. Just a salt truck, an open tailgate, and the understanding that forecasts come with labor attached.

Witnesses describe him stepping onto frozen streets, snow piled high, shoulders hunched under the weight of the bag, realizing this isn’t symbolic. This is operational. If the roads are slick, he’s there. If the sidewalks are glass, he’s there. State line doesn’t matter. Weather does.

FINAL REMINDER.
DEADLINE IS

The BRC is offering Five $1,000 scholarships for Local High School Seniors advancing into academics or the trades. The BRC's scholarship committee will judge the applications with winners notified in February 2026.

Attached is the 2026 BRC Scholarship forms to be completed and mailed before the February 1st, 2026 deadline.
