Calling all environmentally-aware teens! QC libraries are hosting a Teen Environmental Summit at Bettendorf Public Library on Saturday, February 28! We'll be there, and activities include a raffle, take-and-make kits, and upcycling a shirt or tote bag.

It's our favorite time of the year! Following the Waste Commission of Scott County's elf, Binjamin!

Ope! You caught me mid-litter clean up!

The Waste Commission's environmental outreach program, Ilivehereqc, provides free cleanup supplies and manages the MAKE it YOURS street adoption program. Through MAKE it YOURS, businesses and groups adopt an area to clean up at least twice a year. Join us in giving a cheer for the staff at MidAmerican Energy who cleaned up their MAKE it YOURS adopted spot on Veterans Memorial! They cleaned up six bags of garbage from this busy roadway last week. 👏👏👏

What's iLivehere?? It's the Waste Commission of Scott County's environmental outreach program and an affiliate of Keep America Beautiful! The program provides free cleanup supplies, loans event recycling containers, and coordinates MAKE it YOURS (street/area adoption program).
