Our 8th REACT project coming soon! This is a 4 BR 2 Bath, 1 bed and bath on lower level. This project will include a new roof, siding, all interior upgrades. It has a dry basement, level yard and 2 car detached garage. It will be a must see! Keep an eye on our page for updates and availability!

NHS Scott County clients and neighbors - We have heard from many of you due to the recent storms. There is more information in this link from Scott County Emergency Management. Please follow the advice in the link, contact us to report damage(563 324 1556), we are doing the best we can to provide assistance as well. We have staff at all of our properties assessing damage, and have all of our pumps and generators out in the field. There is significant damage out there but thankfully everyone we have heard from is safe. Last and possibly most important - DO NOT ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH ANY UNSOLICITED PEOPLE. Contact NHS,the red cross if necessary, county resources, and contact your insurance before committing yourself. We are excited to announce that we've accepted an offer on our most recent rehab project! Big Thanks to The Family Credit Union for partnering with NHS and making this project possible! Once again our projects help revitalize long vacant properties, and reinvest through rehabilitation to make them quality affordable homes! Removing a an eyesore and creating a homeowner is a WIN WIN...Keep an eye out, we have at least 2 more waiting in the wings for 2025!

Hearing this morning that Ms. Bonnie Beechum passed. She was an incredible force in our community and we appreciate ALL of her efforts in our non profit housing world! Our prayers go out to her loved ones and family.
